East Sixth Street Christian Church is located in the shadows of the State Capitol in the historic “JFK neighborhood.”

Each Sunday, East Sixth Street offers worship service at 11:00 am. Service is filled with soul stirring gospel music and dynamic biblical preaching and teaching from Senior Pastor, Jesse Jackson Jr.

Sunday school breakfast is served at 9:30 and Sunday school classes are offered at 10:00 am for all ages. Children’s church is offered during morning service for children 2- 4th grades. The nursery is available for children, ages newborn to first grade.

Don’t forget to join us for Bible Study each Wednesday night; 6:30 for dinner and 7 pm Bible study for Adults and youth.

The Young Adults have a prayer group where contemporary issues of life are discussed and encouragement given.
