Pray for the family and friends of Brother Marvin Fisher. WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS

First Sunday Breakfast and T-shirt and Wednesday Night Bible Study Dinner  is provided on the 1st and 3rd Sunday  morning and Wednesday night ,  respectively. Thank you Sister Rosa!

OU-Texas Tailgate this Saturday!

Men’s Fellowship presents an OU vs Texas Tailgate party Saturday October 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Dine in or carry out. The game starts at 2:30 p.m. Please come out for food, dominoes, cards and fellowship. Cheer on your favorite team.

Disciple Women’s Fellowship

The next DWF meeting will be Saturday, October 18 at the church at 11 a.m. All women are invited! Oklahoma Disciple Women’s Fall Retreat in Chouteau, Ok. was held this weekend, Sister Carmen, Kim and Jan were in attendance, Sister Cynthia Clegg taught a Tai Chi Class for the group.

Baptism Class

The next baptism class for children will be October 18 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. See Deacon Brittany to schedule your children. Adult baptism orientation date is pending.

Saturday, October 18th from 1-5 p.m. the inaugural Foundations Conference will take place. Gain practical tools to help your ministry thrive! Register here.

ESSCC Fall Festival will be hosted  by  Jan and Brian Bachman. Bring your children and enjoy tacos followed by an old fashion trick or treat experience in a safe neighborhood.  Fun for ALL ages. Join the fun!!  October 31 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. (The street will be closed at 6 so please come before that to park at the Bachman’s house!)  Address and directions will be at the greeter table.

Young Adult Bible study

Young Adult Bible study will be taking place on the first and third Sundays at 9 a.m.

May we all continue to seek and pursue Jesus in 2025,  with a renewed sense of connection .  Let us increase our level of commitment to his service and step out to do Gods work for our church and community   in love.

Disciple women’s fellowship

Sister LaKeisha Lewis is our Chairperson and sister Kim Smith is our assistant Chairperson of ESSCC Disciples Women Fellowship. Sister Karrie Harris is our  treasurer and her assistant treasurer is Sister Sheila  Jones. Cynthia Clegg has agreed to be our DWF secretary .  Brittney  Houston and Michell Eike have agreed to be communication coordinators.

Children’ s Church

We have two group of children for Sunday Children’s Church. PreK- 3rd grade and 4th grade through 6th grade. (12 years and under)- we will not be working with toddlers at this time.   We will ask one Teen to help with the younger class each Sunday.

First Sunday Breakfast and T-shirt Sunday 1st and 3rd Sunday. Thank you Sister Rosa!

We will continue to  be on Facebook Live. We are still needing  someone to volunteer to coordinate Zoom for  Wednesday Night Bible Study . See Pastor Jackson if you are interested.
